Uses: Mainly used in non-cyanide electroplating, instead of sodium cyanide as electroplating complexing agent. Also used as a plating pretreatment agent and pyrophosphate plating solution. Formulations for laundry detergent components, metal surface cleaners and bottle detergent components, and various detergent additives. Used as a clay dispersant in the ceramic industry, dispersants and buffers for pigments and dyes. The bleaching and dyeing industry is used to remove a small amount of ferric ions in the water and improve the dyeing quality.
